My uncle Duane made this SWEET balance beam for my nephew. I have no woodworking skills, so I can't really describe how it's made... there's just a notch cut in the small piece of wood. I'm not sure if it comes apart or if it's permanently fastened together. I love it because it's so amazingly simple. And good for those large muscle movements.

Oh...by the way, it comes apart and makes a great step stool for looking out the window too. Bonus!
